There are dozens of golf courses around Bangkok.We have limited our list to those that are open to non-members, are less than an hour by car from the city center, and have a minimum of 18 holes. Green fees shown at the end of each listing are for non-members playing on a weekend.

Bangkok Golf Club, 2 Tiwanon Road, Bangkradi, Pathumthani, 02501 2771. 6,918-yard par 72 course popular with the expat community. Night golf available. 2,100 Baht.

Bangpoo Country Club, 191 Moo 3, Pragsa, Muang,
23240320. 7,048-yard par 72 course designed by Arnold Palmer with large and fast-sloping greens. 2,000 Baht.

Chuan Chuen Golf Club, Chuan Chuen Flora Ville, Bangkok-Pathumthani Road, Pathumthani, 02598 2839. 6,178-yardpar 18 course designed by Nick Faldo with many water hazards, 80 bunkers and lots and lots of trees. 700 Baht.

Dynasty Golf & Country Club, Poldamri Road, Amphur Bang Lane, Nakhonpathom, 03439 1076. Built on a reclaimed rice paddy, this 6,792-yard par 72 course has water hazards on most holes. 850 Baht.

Kiarti Thanee Country Club, 199-200 Moo, 5 Bangna-Trad Highway, Samutprakarn, 02707 1700. Fairly flat 6,730-yard par 72 course with lots of bunkers and water hazards. 1,800 Baht.

Krungthep Kreetha Sports Club, 516 Krungthep Kreetha Road, Huamark, Bangkapi, 02379 3716. Accurate tee shots
needed, as trees run along most fairways on this 6,874-yard par 72 course. 1,900 Baht.

Lakewood Country Club, 99/1 Moo 11, Bangna-Trad Highway, Samutprakarn, 02312 6276. Located at kilometer-marker 18 of the Bangna-to-Trad highway this course has 27 holes, each nine a 36 par. Noted for its dog-legs, flowers and shrubs. 2,700 Baht.

Lam Lukka Country Club, 29 Moo 7, Klong 11, TambolLamlukka, Pathumthani, 02995 2300. Accuracy rather than
power is called for at this 36-hole course (each 18 is a par 72), 27 kilometers east of the Don Muang airport. 1,800 Baht.

Muang Kaew Golf Course, 52 Moo 8, Km. 7.7, Bangna-Trad Highway, Samutprakarn,
02316 3918. Only 20 minutes from the city center, this 7,015-yard par 72 course gets busy at weekends. 2,700 Baht.

Muang-Ake Golf Club, 52 Moo 7, Phaholyothin Road, Pathumthani, 02533 9335. Just 10 minutes north of the airport,
this 6,398-yard par 72 course, with wide fairways and large greens, is well suited to beginners. 1,030 Baht.

Muang-Ake Vista Golf Course, 52/999 Phaholyothin Road, Luk 6, Pathumthani, 02997 8501. Another good course for the beginner, and sister course to the club above. The canals make great water hazards on this 5,572-yard par 72 course. 1,030 Baht.
